Catherine completed medicine at Monash University graduating with honours in 1997. She completed an intern year in Alice Springs Hospital and entered GP training in 2000. She has worked in rural and remote Australia, completing a Masters in Public Health at Sydney University and further degrees in rural medicine.

She became Medical Director of Gateway Health Wodonga in 2015 and has overseen the development of the Multicultural Clinic which sees all the newly arrived refugees to the region and the development of the first locally based HIV clinic at Gateway Health. She is also the doctor for Clinic 35 Gateway Health which is a sexual health clinic for young people and oversaw the development of the Medical Termination of Pregnancy program within Clinic 35 in 2014. Since then the clinic has performed more than 200 medical terminations and is seen as one of the leading innovators in the provision of medical termination of pregnancy in a rural GP setting.

I have worked in the field of HIV for 16 years around Australia and overseas. Currently I am working in the community, conducting health assessment and promotion activities, which includes education and support of PLWHA, in predominately low socio-economic areas.

Dr Shiva Rayar is a General Practioner with an interest in HIV Medicine from Sydney, Australia. Shiva has worked in areas such as Refugee Health, Emergency Medicine and HIV/Sexual Health Medicine. He is currently pursuing further knowledge in Paediatric HIV Management.

Cecilia is a biostatistician with the Biostatistics and Database Program at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Australia. Her work has primarily been focused on the design and analysis of clinical trials and data linkage studies in HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. 

Martin works at the Centre for Social Research in Health at UNSW Australia. He is a social scientist whose research is focused on HIV prevention and gay men. He runs the Gay Community Periodic Surveys across Australia. Disclosure of Interest: The Centre for Social Research in Health is partially supported by the Australian Government Department of Health. The Gay Community Periodic Surveys are funded by state and territory health departments. Martin is an investigator on the VICPrEP and PRELUDE studies, both of which have been provided drugs at low or no cost by Gilead. Gilead has no control over the studies' designs or the publication of results.

Dr Jingshan Wu had done her Bachelor degree in medicine and physician training in China. She also did a PhD in medicine at The University of Western Australia and completed her GP training in Western Australia. She has interest in hepatitis B in Chinese/Asian population. 

Jude is the Clinical Nurse Consultant of the Victorian NPEP Service based at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne with a keen interest in sexual health and HIV prevention. When not talking PEP and PrEP you will find her talking AFL or eating chocolate

Dr Beng Eu is a co-director of Prahran Market Clinic. He has special interest in HIV medicine, drug and addiction medicine and sports medicine. He is currently on the Health and Human services working group of the Victorian Government LGBTI taskforce which is convened by the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Louise Tomlins is a Sexual Health Physician and  GP. She has been involved in the clinical care of people living with HIV since 2003. She currently works at Taylor Square Private Clinic in Darlinghurst and Western Sydney Sexual Health Centre, Parramatta. 

Dr Tse has been a GP for 15 years. He has a keen interest in all aspects of general practice and aims to provide holistic, family based care for his patients. He has a special interest in internal medicine, acupuncture, paediatrics and geriatrics and provides services to several nursing homes. Dr Tse has been involved in the Australian Primary Preventative Care Collaborative Program to improve outcomes for Type 2 Diabetes patients. He regularly participates in Antenatal Share Care, Geriatric, Mental Health and, Chronic Disease management programs, and has recently completed the Hepatitis B: Advanced Management in Primary Care course. 

I'm a registered nurse, working at Sexual Health Quarters (SHQ) in Perth W.A. Originally from the UK, but have lived in Australia for 10 years with my husband and 3 grown up children.

I started my nurse training 30 years ago this week! Wow that makes me old! I've done lots of different types of nursing over the years, but fell in love with sexual health and have worked in this area for 17 years.

Dr Priya is a GP Registrar and s100 prescriber. Interests include sexual health, HIV, hepatitis and family planning medicine. Priya works at Balmain GPC and is progressing through her GP training having completed terms at Liverpool Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women, and two years at Sydney Sexual Health Centre. Her focus is to provide on-going community care for patients with varying sexual and complex care needs, both in urban and remote settings.

Fiona is a GP in Brisbane, having studied at the University of Queensland. Before studying medicine she gained a science degree with honours in microbiology, and worked in an HIV research lab. She has been working in the area of LGBT health and HIV medicine since 2001. She is an S100 prescriber. 

Iain is a GP who has worked with Aboriginal Health Services in the Northern Territory since migrating from the UK in 2006. Working in aboriginal health provides many opportunities to try to help « close the gap ». One area in which there is much to be done is in chronic hepatitis B and its prevention. Iain has 2 dogs, Duke and Sadie.

I have been working in the HIV Outreach team for the last 4.5 years. Previously I had been working within the homeless sector in the inner city of Sydney and in hospitals for many years.

I am current studying a Masters of Public Health/International Health at the University of NSW (UNSW) which has opened my world up considerably. My Nursing and Career aspirations are to assist in bringing health and healing to marginalised and poor communities in need, social justice and equity and equality for all. 

Christina is an infectious diseases physician at The Alfred Hospital and an NHMRC postdoctoral research fellow at The Doherty Institute. She currently works on understanding the establishment of the HIV reservoir and strategies for its eradication. Christina conducted her PhD on cryptococcal meningitis, HIV and IRIS based in South Africa.

Edwina is an infectious diseases physician and clinical researcher at the Alfred Hospital and the Burnet Institute. She has been involved in the clinical care of HIV positive people since 1986. Edwina has a strong interest in HIV-associated neurological disorders and she currently chairs a large, international clinical trial designed to determine the impact of early antiretroviral treatment strategies upon HIV-associated neurocognitive performance. She is also chair of the Asia-Pacific NeuroAIDS Consortium (APNAC) and co-chair of the Australasian National NeuroAIDS Brain and Tissue Bank Project.

Dr Wright also has a strong commitment to the health of HIV positive people living in the Asia Pacific region and has worked with ASHM's International Division for several years. Dr Wright is also closely involved in the work of the Victorian HIV Non-occupational Postexposure Prophylaxis Service. She is the President of ASHM. (Disclosure of Interests)
