Sharon is Director, Department of Infectious Diseases The Alfred and Monash University and co-head, Centre for Virology, Burnet Institute, Melbourne and a leading HIV researcher. Her laboratory was recently funded by the National Institutes of Health to participate in a large international consortium of researchers working on HIV cure.
